SILVER WIN FOR YOGA ENTHUSIAST MANMOHAN GUPTA

Yoga had never been as appealing to the people before as it is now. The main reason in the change in
trend is the fact the way in which yoga has been promoted in recent years. Also people have realized its benefits and there is a dedicated effort to revive, reinforce and strengthen the knowledge about yoga.

Today yoga is practiced across the world and in various forms, with the International Day of Yoga aiming to raise further awareness of its many health benefits. Aiming to encourage and spread this age old legacy of India, Yoga Federation of India held its 13th North India Yoga Sports Championship at Gaziabad. People from all over North India cities came to participate for this competition. 

The championship was organized by Uttar Pradesh Yoga Association from 21st to 23rd June at Sunderdeep College Gaziabad. The Yogasan Competition was held on 22nd June. Manmohan Gupta of Uttam Nagar, Delhi made the entire city proud by winning Silver Medal in Yogasan Competition for male- Above 35 years. He was awarded with a silver medal and certificate by the Yoga Fedetration of India. Manmohan Gupta is quite ecstatic on winning the medal and gives all the credit to his teacher Krishan Kumar Garg, International Yoga Champion who showed him this path of holistic well being. Manmohan says that he has cured himself by all lifestyle diseases
through Yoga which he now follows with passion. Manmohan is now working towards realizing his dream of winning the Yoga Competition at national level.
