INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY – 21st June

Yoga – an Indian Physical, Mental and Spiritual Practice or Discipline – (Yoga means to unite, or join or attach; Yoga also implies the Union with the Supreme) – a Disciplined Method for Attaining a Goal, comprising Techniques of controlling the Body and the Mind, the name for the Indian School of Philosophy and a Path to Omniscience, involving an Analysis of Perception and Cognition – must be taught to students from an early age. Yoga is a Holistic and an Integral Science of Life dealing with Physical, Mental, Emotional and Spiritual Health of the Individual and Society.

Students regularly practising Yoga will develop logical and critical thinking abilities, the power of reasoning and an analytical approach towards problem solving; they will be objective in thought, speech and action and will tend to be organized and systematic; they will learn mathematical concepts and computational techniques at high speed; they will be rational and pragmatic, with the aptitude to think in words and numbers and also be capable of expanding their linguistic skills.

At the same time, students will build up their intuition and creativity, attain clarity in thought process and will be subjective in their attitude and expressive and illustrative in nature; they will become optimistic and will broaden the capacity for holistic thinking. They will be more tuned to visualization.

Students will be thus able to Live Life to its Full Potential, ultimately, resulting in students getting transformed into Healthy and Mature Adults, consequently blossoming into Visionaries and Creative Thinkers. Students will get Inspired and will also be a source of Motivation, thus Constantly Creating New Horizons for Humankind and Humanity.

One can very well imagine the Silence, the Stillness, the Calm and the Peace as 2 Billion People across the Globe Demonstrate to the billions of denizens, the Power and Importance of Yoga.
