Earth Day Celebration at N.K. Bagrodia Public School

N.K. Bagrodia Public School, Dwarka has celebrated Earth Day on 21st April 2017 with a lots of gusto and zeal. The aim was to sensitize the students to save our mother earth. This day was a perfect platform for children to showcase their inherent abilities and talents through entertaining and informative programme.

First of all, the students were informed through speech that Earth day is celebrated on April 22 each year. It was started in 1970 by Gaylord Nelson. Events are organised on this day to increase people’s awareness about importance of saving our environment and motivated all to keep the planet beautiful as ever.

Followed by speech the students of class IX presented a colourful spray of their talents by performing a Nukkad Natak titled “ Dhara Bachao ” followed by pledge to save our mother earth. They made the maximum use of the show to spread the message of “save earth”, “save ourselves”. The elegant and magnificent performance by the students mesmerized the audience. On the whole , it was an excellent blend of knowledge and awareness.
