CHRISTMAS CELEBRATED AT THE INDIAN HEIGHTS SCHOOL


The school ground of The Indian Heights School, Sector 23, Dwarka wore a festive look as the students wearing Santa Caps celebrated the festival of fun, frolic and festivity….. ‘Christmas’ with the spirit of sharing and caring. The Special Assembly highlighted the importance of Christmas started with morning prayers followed by the enactment of the Nativity Scene depicting the birth of Lord Jesus and how it brought Joy to the World. The highlight of the programme was the scintillating dance performances by the students on popular Christmas Carols.

The children’s joy knew no bound when they saw Santa entering the assembly with bag full of sweets and presents for everyone. School Principal Ms Archana Narain addressed the assembly and reminded everyone about the values of ‘Sharing and Caring’ and ‘Peace and Love’. She further encouraged the young learners to welcome the upcoming year with new hopes and resolutions so as to improve and excel in all endeavours of their lives. The assembly concluded with the rendition of National Anthem. The festivity did not stop here, a Gift Exchange Programme by the Little Step students and Santa Card Activity along with a gala class party with the Christmas cake cutting Ceremony added more fun and festivity to the occasion. The School Management conveyed its best wishes to the students and the entire TIHS family with the message of peace and love.
