Van Mahotsav week was celebrated in Shiksha Bharati Public School

Van Mahotsav week was celebrated with full enthusiasm in Shiksha Bharati Public School campus from July 1 to July 7, 2016. The main motive of this celebration was to spread awareness amongst students about the harm caused by cutting down of trees.

Meaningful messages were put up all around on the importance of trees and how they are the ‘Lifelines’. The programme included an inspiring speech by a student urging others to save the environment by each one planting one sapling. Then a soulful group song dedicated to the trees left everyone mesmerised. Various activities were conducted in classes and saplings were planted in the campus. Students presented a beautiful plant to Principal Ms Mamta Gupta.
