Apeejay School of Management organize a Live case study Seminar with Mumbai Dabbawallas

Apeejay School of Management, New Delhi, one of the premier B-Schools in the country, organized a seminar cum live case Study presentation for the future managers of MNCs from the team of Mumbai Tiffin Box Association, famously known as the Mumbai Dabbawallas. The event was hosted in collaboration with the Delhi Management Association, a wing of the All India Management Association on 8th August, 2012 at the ASM campus. The seminar was attended by all students at ASM from the PGDM, PGDM International Business and AIMC along with delegates and students from the DMA. 


The event present information and an impactful presentation about the Mumbai Dabbawallas, where they shared their year long journey in Mumbai and how they have lived up to the trust of millions of housewives in Mumbai day by day.

Speaking on this occasion Mumbai Dabbawalla Team Chief Coordinator & Speaker Mr. Subodh Sangle and one of the key supervisors of the team Mr. Kiran Gawande mention “By their own account of the operations, their results are achieved daily by using simple techniques clubbed with the sincere hard work and dedication on part of each of the Dabbawalla who is considered as a partner in this hugely successful and sound venture running for the last 120 years “

The presentation also covers how Dabbawallas earned a global excellence in their operations and supply chain management. Over the students in the seminar get very impactful insights from the Dabbawallas which is going to be a very helpful lession in the domain of management.
