ANOTHER ROUND OF SELF-DRAWS IN DWARKA

Self-draws for three more Group Hosing Societies at Dwarka were conducted today in the presence of A B Bardhan, Mahabal Mishra, Aziz Pasha, all MPs, Bijender Gupta, President, Delhi Pradesh BJP, Rajesh Gehlot, Dy. Mayor of Delhi  and others.  Thus, within a year, self-draws for 24 societies have been conducted.  The draws took place in the Mahasammelan of Suffering Members of CGHS at Sector 11, Dwarka.

 On the occasion, Mahabal Mishra, MP said that he had raised this case in the Lok Sabha also and that the members are moving in their own Housing for which they have made payment.  He said that this is not a political issue but a genuine problem of the members.

Sammelan, he said that if we have done some offence by conducting and certifying the draw, we are fully ready to face the consequences. Shri A B Bardhan said that thousands of members have moved in their flats because of the self-draws. Shri Aziz Pasha, MP said that conduct of self-draws indicate the failure of the system and there is no need to be afraid of the government’s threats.
Shri Rajesh Gehlot said that the Delhi government is responsible for forcing the members of Societies for conducting the self-draws.  This government has regularized unauthorized colonies, also given the provision regularization certificates to unauthorized colonies but is insensitive to the problems of the members of these group housing societies.  He declared that Bhartiya Janta Party will regularize the self-draws if it comes to power.



 Karuna Vihar, Mahajan Shree CGHS and Mahaveer CGHS societies have conducted self-draw. On this occasion, Kamal Jeet Sehrawat, Leader, BJP, Mukesh Sinha, social activists and editor of Dwarka City, Rajendra Arya, Convener of  the Association and others took active part in making the event successful.
Asok Kumar of Association Members said that about 8,000 persons have already moved in their flats and they are paying house tax, However, if the government wants to conduct these draws again, they have no objection. He informed that so far 24 societies have conducted the self-draw and the draws of 76 societies are pending. He said that they are law-abiding citizens and in the past, the government has regularized self-draws conducted in 1996 and afterwards.
Shri Bijendra Gupta wondered why the members have not gone for the self-draw earlier and appreciated the courage of the members for going to conduct the self-draws in the face of indifferent government. The self-draws are fully valid and justified and we have certified them. He said that conduct or non conduct of such draws make no difference to the govt. as it has become deaf and dump and in fact, there in no government worth its name in Delhi and there is a need to change such govt.  Talking to the electronic media on the sidelines of the Maha
