The Municipal Corporation of Delhi will start night sweeping in Dwarka from today and this has been possible because of many representations and continuous follow up by the Dwarka Forum.
Yesterday, MCD officials met office bearers of DF to inform about the decision and said that initially, night sweeping will start from sector 14 which will gradually be extended to other sectors with the increase of number of staff. At present, MCD has only 10 workers for undertaking night sweeping. Sweeping during the day will continue as usual.
