Shree Ganesh Co-operative Group Housing Society of Sector-7, Dwarka feels proud to be the only housing society of Dwarka and one of the ten best housing societies of NCR to be awarded “ Glory of Delhi Award-2009” be Smt. Arti Mehra, Honorable Mayor of Delhi along with Chief Editor of Times of India at a function organized at Tivoli Gardens, Chattarpur, on 12th July 2009.
Altogether 700 Housing Societies of NCR applied for this prestigious award. After three phases of screening, 100 societies were short listed for the said award. After further scrutiny and rigorous screening only 30 societies were short-listed for this award. Finally only ten housing societies of NCR were awarded the prestigious “ Glory of Delhi Award-2009”. Shree Ganesh Apartment of Sector-7 Dwarka was one amongst ten housing societies in NCR and the only housing society of West Delhi to be honoured with this prestigious award.
It is a proud moment for all the members and residents of the society who are thankful to the Managing Committee for winning them this prestigious award. It is also a matter of pride for all the residents of Dwarka that on of the societies of Dwarka has been honoured with the Glory of Delhi Award for 2009 by the Times of India Group.
