Lakshmi Krishnan is a qualified social worker having done her masters in social work from the prestigious Delhi school of social work nearly four decades ago.
After having worked as a school social worker for 4 years, she accepted a very challenging job at a very young age to run a adoption centre of SOS children 's villages of India where during her 20 years of service she looked after nearly two thousand abandoned babies and placed them in adoption.
