The Indian Heights School hosted Euphony 2017-18- an Inter-school Fest


The annual TIHSIAN, Inter School Fest, ‘Euphony – An Amalgamation of Creativity’, is a mega school event held in the month of July every year, and has been attracting the best talents and celebrating the immense potential showcased by our budding youngsters. This year the festival was conducted on July 27 and July 28, 2017 respectively. Every year, the theme based competitions grind the knowledge on challenging current affairs as well as issues that pertains to social dilemmas. The two day event this year encompassed a wide array of activities e.g ‘SAJI DHAJI TASVEER (PHOTO FRAME)’, ONCE UPON A TIME….(FAIRY TALE)ENCHANTING!’, ‘(CHANTING OF SANSKRIT SHLOKAS)’, ‘ RADIO JOCKEY(INDIA IN 2050)’, ‘GREEN SEMBLE (FANCY DRESS)’, ‘SAVE THE PLANET EARTH (WESTERN DANCE)’, ‘ WHERE CREATIVITY MEETS MADNESS (AD MAD SHOW)’, ‘ SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT (WALL MAGAZINE)’. These activities provided a platform for the young ignited minds to display their talent and innovative skills. 

The School Principal, Ms Archana Narain, in her welcome address reiterated the objective of Euphony that is to ignite sparks of sensitivity in the youngsters, and help them broaden their horizons. She added that furthermore, such competitions instills in young minds, an awareness of differences, as well as rebuild an appreciation for nature, beside compassion and empathy for humanity. An eminent and distinguished panel of Judges lauded the performances and appreciated the efforts put up by host school for encouraging the young students to think on their own and work independently. Based on maximum number of winning positions in competitions held on two days, the Rolling Trophy for the Euphony 2017-18 was bagged by St. Mary’s School Dwarka for their exemplary performance in all the activities. Euphony 2017 was a roaring success and was appreciated by one and all.
