Independence & Janmashtmi celebrated at Bal Bhavan International School

The spiritual nation
Freedom in our mind,
Faith in our words,
Pride in our hearts,
Memories in our souls.

Every citizen of Indiais well aware that 15th August is the day when India got its Independence from British rule to become a free country. The day is celebrated all over in unity with great patriotism. To commemorate the sovereignty of our nation, our vice-principal, Mrs. Jaspreet Kaur unfurled the tricolor flag and all in unison sang the National Anthem and expressed the joy of our freedom. Furs and plumes wing of our school had showcased this day of liberty and unity by filling our hearts with patriotism. A skit depicting secularism of this diverse nation and formation of our TIRANGA left us all speechless whereas a mute dance with sign language was performed on our National Anthem by class 1 students was awestruck filling us with gratitude. Our tiny tots had also performed dance and sang patriotic songs paying their gratitude to nation. The whole celebration had reminded us the struggle; valor, blood and sweat of our people invested to bring back its freedom and made us felt proud again to be an INDIAN. JAI HIND. JAI BHARAT.

The festival of “Janmashtmi” was also celebrated with traditional gaiety and enthusiasm. Students of class 2nd mesmerized the audience with their scintillating performances based on the theme of festivity. The attractive, costumes, songs, bhajans, the fascinating props made the assembly worth viewing. To mark Lord Krishna’s birth and his friendship with Sudhama reinforce the message that God is for everyone, our kids brandish the entire episodes graciously. The students imbibed the message that whenever there is any rise of evil or the acts of evil, which can destroy the humanity, then the God himself will come and kill the evil and try to restore peace and harmony.
