Declared in 1972 by the United Nations, The World Environment Day on 05th June every year is being celebrated to motivate people to take positive environmental actions in order to save nature on this planet. Cleanliness being one of the crucial aspects to protect the environment, Sahaj Sambhav, in association with HOTEL REDISSON BLU, TOURISM PLUS FOUNDATION; and IWPG; took the initiative to campaign for CLEAN INDIA – GREEN INDIA and started cleanliness drive in Dwarka with the help of SDMC.
The campaign started with the supported of Staff from Hotel Radisson Blu, Dwarka; Volunteers from Sahaj Sambhav and Tourism Plus Foundation and IWPG. The event was attended by Mr. M. Shoeb, General Manager of Hotel Radisson Blu; Mrs. Shanu Wadhwa of Tourism Plus Foundation; Ms. Ankita; Ms. Madhulika; Mrs. Chitra; Mrs. Romila; Ms. Prachi and Mrs. Rakesh and many other volunteers.
The efforts made in cleanliness drive were applauded by one and all for being a successful campaign and for spreading message of clean environment. Mrs. Rekha Jhingan, Director of Sahaj Sabhav thanked all the participants and vowed to continue her efforts in making Dwarka and Delhi clean and green.
