JUNIOR INVESTITURE CEREMONY HELD AT THE INDIAN HEIGHTS SCHOOL


The most coveted day for the trail blazers, the innovators, role models and the chosen ones upholding the values of the school, finally arrived on May 4, 2017 when the Investiture Ceremony of the Primary Wing students was held at The Indian Heights school, Sector 23, Dwarka. On this special day, the deserving young talents of the school were bestowed with the responsibility of leading the School from the front with their commitment, confidence and competence. The Chief Guest Major. Gen. Ram Kishan Saiwal, AVSM, VSM along with Ms. Saiwal graced the occasion. The day commenced with the lighting of the lamp followed by an energetic and messaged filled welcome song by the school choir and a dance invocation. The School Principal, Ms. Archana Narain in her welcome address, urged the Primary Wing students council to brave the mantle of responsibilities with complete dedication and commitment. She inspired them to blend their heart and head to make the school a ‘symbol of Innovation’. The students filled with joy and pride, as they marched towards the stage with dignified steps and with firm pace represented their true and ardent spirit to scale new heights for the school and repose their faith to bring glory and laurels to the school. Thereafter, the Chief Guest along with the school Principal pinned up the sashes and offered badges to each council member. The school Principal administered the oath of office and the members of the council pledged to adhere to the values and principles upheld by School. The rendition of the song, ‘We Shall Overcome’ by the student council conveyed a befitting message to work together at all levels of learning and strive for excellence. The program concluded with the National Anthem.
