As an educator, I feel that being an educationist is a bliss. When one thinks about the term education, it immediately takes me to the world of fantasy where the capabilities are chiseled, minds are nurtured and thoughts are refined. In fact it’s a feeling of complete elation & self confidence that crops up. There is a paradigm shift in the system of education since its inception and we today are living in the world that is technology driven and we have plethora of ways to impact education to all. The essence of education is to open up the new vistas for the complete development & our motto should be to ignite the spark for passionate urge to provide the worth to human life. When I talk about education,it not only comprises the academic division rather it has wider aspects like developing the confidence, enhancing the abilities, boosting up the morale and thus giving a perfect design to the personality of humans. The schools are primarily working up to bring the new revolution in the curriculum to make the learners fell encouraged to get the light of knowledge. Actually the function of education is to teach one to think intensively & critically. Moreover, knowledge with character is the goal of true education. After all one should always keep in mind, that education is what remains after one has forgotten everything learnt.
As Einstein said, “Education is not the learning of facts but the training of mind to think & react.”
One has to go whole heartedly into anything in order to achieve anything worth having. So, I believe that one should always try to promote the education in such a way that it percolates down to the roots and builds the character.
To conclude, I would say “our greatest natural resource is the minds of children. Let them explore & satiate their senses.”
