5th Global Journalism Festival Noida 2017 inaugrated


The 5th edition of “Global Festival of Journalism Noida”,known for promoting journalism in the world has begun today at Marwah Studio Complex, in Film City, Noida. This is the most prestigious and the only festival of its kind to promote journalism in the entire world.

It is a “3-day journalistic extravaganza”, organized from 12th to 14th February 2017.The inaugural day of this grand festival witnessed journalists from all over India and from all parts of the World. The purpose of this festival is to spread the message of integrity and affection in the country through the spirit of journalism.

The first day of the5th GFJN was inaugurated by President of Asian Education Group (AEG) Mr. Sandeep Marwah, along with other distinguished dignitaries like, H.E. Nejmeddine Lakhal, Ambassador Designate of Tunisia, H.E. Augusto Montiel, Ambassador of Venezuela, Mr. Shahid Siddiqui, Senior Politician & Editor, Nayi Duniya, Mr. Udai Kumar, Senior Executive Editor, Amar Ujala, Mr. Taran Adarsh, Film Journalist & Critic, Director ASMS, Dr. Ajay Kumar and General Secretary, ICMEI, Mr. Ashok Tyagi.

Today, spectators witnessed many informative and entertaining events, out of which few are the Painting Exhibition which was also inaugurated by Mr. Sandeep Marwah and other eminent guests.

The Animation Exhibition, organized by the School of Animation, was attended by many students. The students participating in the exhibition had their main focus on 3D Animation, computer graphics. Students participated with full motivation. Many renowned Animation Experts praised the showcased work and shared their valuable advices and suggestions with the participants.

Along with different types of exhibitions, the event also witnessed many seminars and workshops.One of the workshops that was highly praised was, Workshop on Info graphics in News by Mr. Amit Kumar, Chief Sub Editor of Hindustan and another workshop on How to cover crime stories? by Mr. Dhirendra Pundir, National Bureau Chief, News Nation.A huge crowd gathered in this career oriented workshop and participated whole heartedly.

The event of AAFT Digital films &Documentary Screening caught the attention of many audiences. In this event Documentaries made by AAFT students were screened and applauded for their creative take on everyday chores. The day 1 event captivated many hearts and witnessed great footfalls.
