Philanthropist Carrie Morgridge and her Husband John Morgridge head the Morgridge Family Foundation, a Denver-based philanthropy that supports causes like the Denver Museum of Nature and Science and Mile High United Way. With her experience of managing the resources of a charitable institution Carrie wrote about her experiences in the 2015 book "Every Gift Matters: How Your Passion Can Change the World.". The proceeds of her popular book go to various groups working in education, health, the arts and the environment.
"women should have a voice.Women are smart. We are intelligent. If you want to get involved, sit on a board. Have your voice heard,” Morgridge said. “Not that I’m making a political statement, but they should have a seat at the table with men.”Ms Morgridge said.
