Niv art centre, New Delhi along with Lalit Kala Academy is jointly organizing a month long exhibition of well known International and Indian artists titled “Art Beyond Boundaries” from August 20 , 2016 in New Delhi.
Earlier to this exhibition an International residency programme has been organised which started on July 16 where the invited artists who will be exhibiting their works from August 20 , 2016 got exposed to various stimuli while exploring Delhi’s landscape, people and even the weather. They engaged in dialogues with each other, sharing information, experiences, history and culture. Through various talks presented by eminent art personalities.
“The concept and Objective of the project “Art Beyond Boundaries” is to merely act as a catalyst. To start a creative process by bringing together an eclectic group International and Indian artists with distinctive art practices., under the same roof” said Lubna Sen Curator.
“The participating artist include Alonso Gill : Seville, Spain Cameron Black : Norwich, UK, Emanuela Barilozzi Caruso : Rome, Italy , Sirish Reddy : Vishakhapatnam, India , Premdeep Khere ( Mana) : Baroda , India, Vishal Joshi : Mumbai , India . These interdisciplinary practitioners will exhibit works ranging from drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, videography and installations.” said Lubna Sen Curator.
