Worshiping Almighty in the Temple

Dr. M C Jain
NATIONAL PRESIDENT
RASHTRIYA DIGAMBER JAIN PARISHAD (Regd)

It is often observed that the “PUJARI” who offer daily “POOJA” and “ABHISHEK” in the temple during morning hours shouts vigorously in such a high pitch which often disturb the entire ‘SHRAVAKAS’ who are just sitting and offering their “POOJA” silently in the temple. It is beyond imagination to note what are the facts behind all such type of prayer to God which disturb most of the ‘SHRAVAKAS’. Do such people have the direct connection with the God? or the God is deaf ?or such people think that God will hear only their prayer if officered in such a manner.?

Temple always considered as “SHANTI MANDIR”( Peaceful place) where all are equal in the eyes of God. God never differentiate between the TWO .HE showers HIS blessings to all without any discrimination or differences. Disturbing others ‘POOJA’ for the sake of himself is neither just nor having any scientific ground and also not proper in any manners. We must pray to God without being anxious. God is omnipotent and omnipresent. One cannot deny HIS existence. He listens to all of us and also answers all such prayers whether these are being officered loudly or silently.

The proper way to pray is to pour out our hearts to God, being honest and open with God, as HE ALREADY KNOWS US BETTER THAN WE KNOW OURSELVES. We are to offer our prayer to God, keeping in mind that God knows what is best. God is more interested in the content of our hearts than the eloquence of our words.

Far too often, prayer is viewed as a “magic formula” . Some believe if we will not chant, God will not hear and answer our prayer. This is completely false notion and belief.

Thanks for your VISITs
