Police Officials who attended the meeting were: ACP Sh S K Meena, SHO Sh. Kamal Deep Singh Rawat, SHO Sh.Rajesh Dogra and TI Sh Rajendra Meena. Besides office bearers of Dwarka Forum, other office bearers from RWAs & Market Association, Senior Citizens and individual representative from several sectors were present to discuss various problems faced by them.
Citizens raised several issued ranging from encroachment, non-functional street light, digging, sound pollution, parking problem, congestion on road, improper traffic signal, open drinking, riding without helmet etc. It was evident that people had high expectations from Police team. ACP, SHO and TI took note of all actionable points which emanated from discussion. Meeting was conducted in good atmosphere and ACP assured to extend all possible help to make citizens life comfortable and also confirmed his availability in the office to discuss any other issues.
The ACP assured the encroachment drive will be implemented in other markets, more regular meetings will be held. The police is also following up with DDA and BSES for streetlights for which list prepared will be shared with RWA. A number of traffic issues were highlighted. Issues were also raised concerning potholes slab missing from manhole - the Residents and RWA demanded FIR against Negligent DDA officials. To which ACP assured will first send warning letters if no results then consider case registration
