Amitabh Bachchan, Dhanush and Akshara Haasan came to P.V.R Plaza, C.P. to promote their film Shamitabh on 2nd February, 2015, Monday. Amitabh Bachchan mesmerized everyone by his gravity, grandeur and his splendid and magnificent personality.

Amitabh Bachchan addressed the gathering by saying that in the movie he has lent his voice to Dhanush’s character. On being asked who whisky is and who water is between him and Dhanush, he said, “I don’t drink. So, Dhanush is both whisky and water.”
When Dhanush was aksed about how different Bollywood is from Tamil cinema, he said, “Except for the language, almost everything is the same. One difference however is that down in South we have to give just 5 interviews whereas here we have 523 interviews lined up for us.”
Akshara said, “It was a wonderful opportunity and an amazing experience for me”, when she was asked about her experience about her debut in the movie. The song Piddly, which has become really popular, was brought in conversations frequently as it has been used to fight piracy and has been sung by none other than Mr. Amitabh Bachchan.
