Sri Venkateshwar International School celebrated Grandparents’ Day


Sri Venkateshwar International School, Sec-18 celebrated the Grandparents Day on December 24, 2014. The Little Rock stars of Pre-School rocked the stage with their exuberant performance through the musical ballet-Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Their energy was a treat to the eyes of one and all. 

The Guest of Honour for the occasion was Mr. Navin Gulia, an ex. Army Officer, an author and a world record holder in adventure sports .He is a role model for his indomitable spirit.Gp. Capt. Ishwar Singh, Advisor Venkateshwar Gp of Schools and the School Chairman Sh, Sailander Solanki also graced the occasion. The School Principal Ms. Nita Arora welcomed all as the three generations came forth to strengthen the bonds on the most significant platform of a child's achievements.

Melodious tunes, thunderous applause and an instant connect was apparent as the little ones took the centre stage. It was a moment to cherish as the grandparents danced on the stage to the parody designed especially for them. The Headmistress SVIS Kids Ms.Shama Kapoor delivered the vote of thanks. The event made each grandparent proud of their grandchild and the school was indeed acclaimed as one of the places where values and traditions support the modern pedagogical styles.
