The followers of Sant Nirankari Mission residing at Dwarka, organised a cleanliness drive on the 2nd October, 2014. All Sadh Sangat was informed to participate in this drive, more than 100 followers of the Nirankari Mission had assembled at Sant Nirankari Bhawan to contribute their service / labour so that the area around the Satsang Bhawan could be made neat and clean. Young boys and girls, ladies and gents of all ages and some elderly people had joined this movement with great enthusiasm.
The grass and unwanted vegetation cut from the road sides was then thrown at the proper place meant for this purpose and fixed by DDA / MCD etc. at nearby places. Smt. Urmila Sethi ji, who was seen scrubbing the road and pavements very meticulously by the back-side of the broom and made it look as fresh one. She was so honestly doing this job as if it was not a road, but a part of her drawing room. Hats off to her (Sewa Bhawna) spirit of service, even though she herself generally does not remain in good health.
It is pertinent to mention here that undertaking cleanliness drive is not a seasonal or yearly ritual with the followers of the Nirankari Mission, rather it is adopted and put to practice as a part of our routine, as our Revered Baba ji, Satguru Baba Hardev Singh ji Maharaj often advises the Sadh Sangat to make it as a part of our life. Cleanliness is just next to Godliness, as in case you keep your houses, Satsang Bhawanand other surrounding areas neat and clean, God will keep you free from many health related problems / diseases etc. Hence, majority of the people are well aware of the importance of maintaining a clean environment in and around the Satsang Bhawan.

This Cleanliness Drive at Dwarka was initiated by the In-Charge of the Satsang Bhawan, Shri Ved Batra ji. A great sense of satisfaction was quite visible on the faces of the Sadh Sangat that, when they will come to attend Satsang next time, no garbage or filthy objects shall be irking / staring their sights.
