Teachers’ Day celebrated at Paramount International School


The much awaited day finally dawned on 5th Sept’ 14 when the students got an opportunity to express their gratitude towards their teachers and the teachers got to know the extent of their influence on the lives of their students.

The students had decked up the school very artistically and colourfully. The teachers were accorded a floral welcome of petal showers. The venue of celebration was adorned with tastefully created charts and posters depicting teachers as super Human Beings.

The programme began with a floral tribute to Dr. Radhakrishnan along with lighting of the lamp ceremony. This was followed by a chain of spellbinding performances. The Retro Dance by girls of 10th, 11th and 12th won great applause. The amazing Beat Box performance by Akarsh of class XII won everybody’s heart. The show stopper performance of the day was the comedy act by students of class XII which sent their Gurus into peals of laughter. The most awaited title ceremony was also enjoyed to the hiet by one and all.

The cake cutting ceremony took place amidst loud cheer and applause. A short movie depicting teachers caught unaware’ was a hilarious presentation. An emotional tribute to teachers by one of the founder students, Manisha Sharma, converted atmosphere into a nostalgic yet proud moment. Mrs. R.L. Saroha, the M.D. of the school, congratulated the teachers for their meritorious service to the society. She urged them to keep themselves updated with the latest teaching trends and most importantly to deal with their students compassionately.

Thereafter the students were escorted to their respective classroom where they, along with their teachers, enjoyed the golden opportunity of listening to the Prime Minister’s speech and interactive session. The day was indeed made memorable by the sincere and thoughtful efforts of the students who left no stone unturned to make it a grand success.
