Dwarka Parichay News - Info Services: BLOOD DONATION CAMP AND DISTRIBUTION OF CLOTHES

PAHAL organized a BLOOD DONATION CAMP in association with ROTARY BLOOD BANK ( a project of ROTARY INTERNATIONAL ) and clothes distribution on 15th August'14 at Sam international School,Sector-12,Dwarka., there was an enthusiastic flow of donors, many of them first-timers! The Camp has proudly served its purpose; it has contributed by making people aware of the importance of Voluntary Blood Donation and pledging to save lives. The ROTARY Organization praised PAHAL’s efforts and in the smooth functioning of the Blood Camp. Rotary has agreed to be associated with PAHAL in similar Blood Donation Camps in future.

The Blood Donation Camp started at 10am and was inaugurated by Mr.Joginder Singh ( IPS), Former Director, CBI. graciously lent his presence at the inaugural. (in spite of his busy schedule.) PAHAL extends its gratitude to Sam International School for allowing their venue to be used for this noble cause.
More than 90 people donated their blood including the President,Vice President and other members of Pahal and more than 500 people received the clothes and other utility items.Pahal is conducting this type of programme since 2011.
