To throw light on the dynamics of classrooms in today’s times and the challenges faced by the pedagogues’ and the learners, a workshop was organized on June 26, 2014, for the teachers by CBSE resource people at The Indian Heights School, Sector-23, Dwarka. It was a One Day Capacity Building Program on Class Room Management. The facilitators were advised to enable the students to be at par with the ever changing dynamics of the world, to be sensitive towards individual needs and help the students to tap into their innate and inherent potential.
The topics which were covered during the Program were Classrooms of Today: A changed Educational Landscape, Coping with Change, Managing Class Room Dynamics through Planning, Time Management and Dealing with Stress/ Emotions. The workshop through various number of group activities provided a platform for the teachers to share their experiences and their suggestions on how to handle everyday classroom situations. The workshop was a rich learning experience and proved to be highly beneficial for all the teachers.
