Dwarka Sports Complex of Delhi Development Authority is situated in Sector-11. It is located in front of the Central market Sector-10, Dwarka. It was inaugurated on Sunday, the 29th July, 2001 by Sh. Jagmohan-then Urban Minister along with Dr. Sahib Singh Verma -then Member of Parliament. It is spread over in 20 acre of land.
The sports lovers can play several games like, Lawn Tennis on Hard Court & Clay Court, Squash, Badminton-Indoor and outdoor, Skating in the Rink, Cricket, Jogging on Track, Volleyball, Basketball , Karate/ Taekwondo, Table Tennis, Billiards, Multi Gym, Yoga, Aerobics, and Swimming Pool, small Golf Course etc. Besides all the above facilities, the complex has beautiful children park and an attractive water fall too.
According to some reliable sources, there are around 6,000 permanent members of the Complex. Still non-members can also avail the facilities available in the sports complex. Even, temporary membership
may be obtained for Sports complex.

During summer vacation, the sports complex gets maximum entry from the sports lovers. The students from all parts of Dwarka and its surrounding areas are also eagerly want to join different game's coaching classes here. After introduction of CCE by C.B.S.E. in the curriculum of study, the participation in the sports has become quite common and productive for the students. The summer camp is going on and will remain open till their school close for summer vacation. During summer everybody want to join Swimming. Mr. Suresh Shokeen-Senior Swimming Coach/Manager says that if you want to keep your body fit then swimming is the best option. Mr.S.S.Sekhawat-Sr. Basketball coach is not only giving the coaching for basketball but also training the budding players for physical fitness.
The provision for sports quota of 5% at Graduate/Post Graduate level admission in Delhi University is also very helpful for the students who are good players and played for their school at different level. So, these days, efficiency in sport has become much more productive.
