ANHLGT Joined Hands with Ek Sangharsh and www.crimeindelhi.com and celebrated the International Women's Day at AIRFORCE NAVAL OFFICERS ENCLAVE with a large number of audience and huge participation from women around.
ANHLGT women showcased their talent and tried to highlight the issues faced by the women today through plays, dances, poems, speeches, etc. Everybody went home with a positive feeling in their hearts and smile on their faces.
Ms. Rebecca Mathai, IA&AS, was the Special Guest. Invited Speakers were Ms.Paroma Bhattacharya (Journalist) and Dr. Prasannanshu, Professor, NLU-Delhi.. Students of the Apeejay School of Management (Dwarka) Presented a play, 4 Years Old Shejal Nair Performed a Bharatnatyam Number, Members of ANHLGT staged a play highlighting the various aspect of problems at domestic level. Yoga Tips for Healthy Women was given by Dr. Ramesh from Dwarka Yoga Centre. Qawalli by members of ANHLGT was the highlight.
Mrs. Cicly Kodiyan and Dr. Prasannanshu released a book written by Dr. Poonam on the issue of Sexual Harassment of Women & Judiciary's View on the same. The book has been published by Central Law Publication and will soon be made available in market.
