Singer Lalitya Munshaw Celebrates Janmashtami


One of India’s most popular festivals- Janmashtami- is celebrated throughout India with zest and fervour, to commemorate the birth of Lord Krishna- the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Thousands of people come out on the streets on Janmashtami to enact the "Dahi Handi " (stealing of curd) episode from Krishna's childhood. Celebrations seem to be never ending on television soaps. Singer Lalitya Munshaw was seen celebrating Janmashtami on the sets of "Maatha Bhare Manjula" where she sung some special song from her album Shree Krishna Janmotsav which will be aired on ETV Gujarati.

Lalitya Munshaw said, “I love to celebrate Janmashtami and its one of my favorite festival. It was an awesome experienced on the set “Maatha Bhare Manjula" where I sung I sung some of my favorite bhajans from my album Shree Krishna Janmotsav.”

The Lead Character Manjula Played by Rupa Divetia and actors also danced to the Janmashtami songs. It was indeed a very entertaining sight. The singer too was seen enjoying the moment to its fullest while she looked stunning in a Magenta salwar suit. The legend of this festival basically revolves around the birth of Lord Krishna with the purpose of getting the world rid of evils.
