Science Week at Shiksha Bharati Public School, Dwarka


Shiksha Bharati Public School, Sec-7 , Dwarka organizing science week from 7th August to 11th . August, during this period inter school science exhibition and science declamation competition on 7th and 8th August were held. Intra-school science quiz was conducted on 9th August. There is science excursion on 11th August for XI & XII science students. The science week was inaugurated by Dr. R.V.P Sinha (Scientist C.S.I.R.) with manager madam and principal madam on 7th August. The chief guest was honoured with a memento of the school.



Many school participated including the host school. Student prepared science models and science projects showing the generation-next-technology. In science declamation participants spoke on rain harvesting and Indian missile technology. 

The first prize won by the host school on topic India’s satellite & missile launcher. The host school passed this prize to Mount Carmel school for model 3-ases robot and the second prize was won by R.D Rajpal school for the model water as a conventional source & the third prize was won by Indraprastha school for the model smart stick for blind people. Two consolation prizes were also given , one was given to Venkateshwara school for the model intelligent construction and second for the host school for the model hydrolic truck.

In science declamation, for 12th class, first position was won by the host school which was passed to the Venkateshwara International School and the third position was won by R.D. Rajpal school. For 11th class, the first prize was won by R.D. Rajpal school and second by Mount Carmel and third by Venkateshwara International school. The competition were adjudged by Shri S.P. Malyavar , Dr. U. Sreehari and J.K.Jha.

The main attraction was the demonstration of the working model of India’s satellite and missile launcher by 11th class students of the host school. The demonstration of launching the rocket was witnessed by the teachers and students including the guest schools. The efforts of science teachers, Students and Co-operation of guest school made the programme a grand success.
