DDA is coming out with a draw of over 21,000 plots for over 25,000 registrants by 12th of this month, most likely on 8th or 9th June. For obtaining clarification on number of plots and applicants, reply of RTI from the DDA is awaited.The allotment of plots will be on lease hold basis.
The building plans on the plots allotted in 2003, 04 and 2005 are not being approved by the MCD as the requirement of minimum development of area is 40, 50% which has not been fulfilled. These plots will be oof 32 and 60 metre for LIG and MIG category respectively. Those who have applied for 48 and 90 mtres will also be allotted plots of reduced sizes. On the issue of applied size plots, the Supreme Court and Delhi High Court have issued show cause notices to the DDA on the PILs filed of Rahul Gupta and the next date of hearing in both the Courts is in the month of July, 2012.
