In tandem with openness and transparency, one of the core values of Vishwa Bharati Public School, parents of LKG students were invited for an orientation programme on 31st March in the school premises.
The one to one interaction with the teachers provided an insight as to the development of the school in terms of curriculum, teaching methodology, various learning aids and also the future plans for the students. The parents were briefed about the rules and regulations to be followed. A detailed know how about the school activities, pattern of teaching through play way method, emphasis on phonetics, focus on life skills like personal hygiene, cleanliness in class was provided to the parents. The focus of the Orientation was on the importance of development in various domains viz. physical & motor, cognitive, language, socio – emotional ; creative expression and aesthetic appreciation. The thematic display of various concepts viz shapes, seasons, sources of water etc. on the walls of Pre Primary wing and an array of activity worksheets showcasing the creative expression of the tiny tots were appreicated by one and all. The Orientation day received an overwhelming response from parents who had attended it in large numbers.
