New Delhi 15th Nov. 2011. In the Delhi Development Authority meeting, it was decided that Modification in Land use of isolated Pocket 11 and 12, Dwarka Zone K-II. In the draft Zonal Development Plan for Zone K-II isolated pocket 11 and 12 near Railway line at Sagarpur was proposed for change of land use from transportation (railway station) to residential. The total area of the site is around 2.26 hectares. 15 mtr water drain divides it into two parts. The area is with MCD and the services are inadequate to take the load of the additional population density. Therefore, it had been proposed after due examination by the Planning and Engineering Wing to process change of land use under Section 11A of DD Act from transportation to public and semi-public facilities. This was approved by the Authority. It will be sent to the Ministry for further approval.
