PEDESTRIAN WOES IN DWARKA

Citizen's Reporter

Pedestrians in Dwarka have been a neglected lot which is evident from the photos shown here. Most of the footpaths are covered with tall grass or shrubs making the footpath inaccessible and people have to walk on the road putting their lives in grave danger besides disrupting traffic. Why is DDA not clearing these footpaths is a question that the residents of DWARKA must demand from the authority. CWG games are on and the nation is looking at fitness and sports but what about maintenance of the basic infrastructure like footpaths which have become a dwelling for the gypsies and labourers who are also a security hazard. DDA get your act together.
