Celebrate this Durgotsav with stars on Star Plus

Star Plus wishes its viewers a shubho Durgotsov  A season of lights and colours is back again in its full glory with Ekta Kapoor’s Tere Liye. As we approach Durgotsav this year, the celebrations get even more intense and magical with a set of surprises knocking at your door. This season, Star Plus brings to its viewers the chance to watch the lead artists of the show Harshad Chopra and Anupriya Kapoor alongwith other stars as they honor and celebrate the presence of Ma Durga through various performances and acts.

With the spirit of Durgotsav taking over, Sakshi Tanwar will make a special appearance on the show and will explain the importance of this tradition and give a kick-start to the event with her performance on “Ma Sheron Wali”. While, on the other hand, the latest bahus of the screen - Mouni Roy, Urvashi Dholakia, Narayani Shastri, Juhi Parmar, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Anupriya Kapoor, Ashka Goradia, Reshmi and Shayantani Ghosh will essay the different faces of Durga Ma in a beautiful Nav Durga act. Dressed in the most traditional of saris and the make up of Ma like of Ma Kali that will be portrayed by Reshmi, the girls are all set to steal the show.

What follows will be a series of wonderful performances and traditional dances in a Dhaki act where some talented faces like Kapil Nirmal, Chaitanya Chaudhary, Vikas Sethi, Harshad Chopra and Shaleen Bhanot will be performing a Dhunuchi naach, all dressed in Dhoti and Kurtas. A fantastic performance indeed!

As love blossoms between Taani and Anurag in Tere Liye, the much talked about couple Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Shaikh will put up a romantic performance to celebrate the occasion.

With a medley by our beloved Chhote Ustaads – Akansha, Sayantan and Shyamantan the celebrations will leave you awed and content.
