The school council is the backbone of the school. It consists of a set of students who act as the supporting pillars for the school. It is the platform where students learn to assume leadership and responsibilities. With this purpose Sri.Venkateshwar International School, Sector -18, Dwarka organized “Democracy at work - The Students’ Council Elections” on 14th May 2010 .
Students of Classes VI-VIII voted for electing the School Head Boy, Head Girl, Sports Captain and Cultural Secretary. The students were highly motivated to caste their votes on the secret ballot papers. The representatives who contested the elections were shortlisted after filing of nomination by them and an interview by the Principal.
Following are the names of the students who were shortlisted for The Students’ Council on the basis of scholastic proficiency, participation and achievement in co-scholastic activities, values, integrity and strength of character.
