Lions Club Delhi Dwaka organized a Blood Donation Camp in Dwarka Sector – 5 Market on Sunday, February 15, 2009 in which 103 blood units were collected. Persons consisting of men and women, young and old enthusiastically donated their blood at the camp. The Camp started at 10 am and ended at 8 pm. Prof. Jagdish Mukhi, Hon’ble MLA, Janakpuri visited the Camp and lauded the efforts being made by Lions Club Dwarka in serving the society. He encouraged the members to further augment the efforts to serve the poor and needy in the nearby areas of Dwarka. He also offered his all possible help to Lions Club Dwarka in their endeavor.
Lion P R Reddy, President Lions Club Dwarka congratulated Lion Vinay Raj, Project Chairman for making this Project a grand success. Several Lions including Lion Anand Dua, Charter President, Lion Deepak Gahlot, Secretary, Lion Manoj Jain, Treasurer, Lion Gulshan Lamba, First Vice President, Lion Dr Sarita Sinha, Second Vice President, Lion Teena Taneja, Director besides all the members actively participated in making this project a successful one.
