Recently, a Governing Body Meeting of Dwarka Forum was held at Hotel Malabar, Behind Honda Showroom, Ramphal Chowk, Sector-7, Dwarka. Mr.Sushil Kumar-General Secretary of Dwarka Forum informed that Anil Nayal ,Mahesh Tak ,M.K.Gupta,Ashok Chaitanya,Sunil Sareen,Rajiv Solanki,,S S Dogra & Sanjay Mishra attended the meeting.
The activities of Dwarka Forum of last three months were explained. GB expressed happiness over the unprecedented success on the protest against the terrorism. GB thanked the people of Dwarka for their support.
During the meeting, Law & Order issue, space for Dwarka Forum office with basic infrastructure, membership, extension of Governing Body, DERC, Forum’s Bulletin Issue were discussed.
It was proposed that a questionnaire be prepared & sent to the members including online members to have their feedback & their concurrence for their presence in the protest march as and when organized.
GB approved the space proposed by Rajiv Solanki at Sector-5 DDA SFS pocket-1, Dwarka. GB also approved to include the name of SS Dogra as media advisor. As far as the membership is concerned, Sunil Sareen voluntarily offered his services for collection of membership form from anywhere in Dwarka. GB appreciated his gesture.

Allotments of CGHS flats, Pollution- control , Corruption are some burning issues on what Dwarka Forum fighting for.

2. Space for office
There were two proposals but GB approved the space proposed by Rajiv Solanki at Sector-5 DDA SFS pocket-1, Dwarka. It was proposed to request for donation of a small almirah to keep DF records at the premises.
3. Membership
It was decided to give option to online members for membership with some time deadline, which may be reviewed time to time. However, it was unanimously decided that effort should be put to convert all online members into actual membershipIt was also proposed to find out the profession of members so that it can be utilized for the benefit of Dwarkaites.
4. Extention of Governing Body
It was decided unanimously to include the name of Rajiv Solanki in GB. GB also approved include the name of SS Dogra as media advisor. It was further decided to fill all vacancies in the next proposed meeting on 22.2.2009. In this respect, request for nomination is sought from the members.
5. Presentation to DERC
M K Gupta and Mahesh Tak suggested that even though one presentation from our side has gone to DERC, we should again send our objections with detailed technical deliberations. It was accepted and GB authorized Sushil Kumar and Mahesh Tak to take appropriate action on the subject.
6. Feasibility for Forum’s Bulletin
Rajiv Solanki suggested exploring feasibility of periodical bulletin of the Forum. The members present emphasized the need of study and scope for the same.
