More help to Bihar flood affected brothers

Assistance to the flood-affected families of the district of Supaul, Bihar - Joint effort made by the “Society for Public Interventions” and “Shri Khatu Shyam Jee Jan Sewa Samiti”,

The relief material dispatched by us for distribution in the district of Supaul is as follows:

8. Turmeric Powder [Haldi] 5 Bags each containing 1,250 Pkts, each Pkt of 200 gms= 250 Kgs
9. TATA Salt 30 bags @ 50 kgs.= 1,500 kgs.
10. Parle G Biscuits 20 Cartons
11. Other Biscuits 05 Cartons
12. Rusk 280 Cartons This was wrongly typed as RASS.
13. Murmura 128 bags @ 14 kgs.= 1,792 kgs.
14. Milk Powder (AMUL) 50 Cartons @ 12 kgs.=600 kgs.
15. Edible Oil 600 litres in 50 cartons put in 17 Bags.
16. Utensils Lotta=400Nos;Thalli= 400 Nos. Kattoris= 400 Nos packed in three bags.
The buckets indicated earlier could not be arranged.
17. Mineral Water 6 Cartons each containing 12 Bottles= 72 Bottles
18. Gamchha [Anghochh] 6 bags containing 1, 500 Gamchhas New item
19. Gur 1,500 kgs. New Item
17. Miscellaneous 14 bags of sundries like ‘daal’, etc.

The aforesaid relief material, contained in 1735 packings and weighing 400 quintals, was booked at Subzi Mandi Railway Station, Delhi in the name of the District Magistrate, Supaul on the 28th September, 2008, for dispatch to Saharsa, in two VPs bearing nos. CRVPH 01876 and NRVPH 00882 vide PR No. C 050691 dated 28/09/08. We have been informed by the local railway authorities that the two wagons containing the relief material have been attached with “Avadh Ashram” which left Old Delhi Railway Station at around 6.00 AM on 29/09/08.
