Prince Bajaj wins 5th Takshila Grand-Prix Chess Challenge

Prince Bajaj won the 5th leg of 5th Takshila Grand-Prix Chess tournament held at KRM World School, Vikaspuri one round to spare. Prince remain unbeaten with a perfect score of 8/8 in eight rounds. On second board Ram Gupta defeated Vaibhev Khanna to finish up 2nd. 3rd & 4th position were decided by toss of coin beween Hemant Sharma & Anirudh Singh Negi in favour of the former.The tournament fatched the largest number of 99 entries in Takshila events so far. Event was well organised by the newly formed NCRChess Academy with Pardeep Solanki as its General Secretary, a Coach with the KRM Mangalam School, Vikaspuri.The Prize money of Rs. 9000 sponosred by Takshila Group through Delhi Chess Association was shared by following 10 winners as mentioned against their name:1 Prince Bajaj( Rs. 2500) 2 Ram Gupta ( Rs. 1500), 3 Hemant Sharma ( Rs. 1000), 4. Anirudh Singh Negi ( Rs. 800), 5. Vaibhav Khanna ( Rs. 700), 6-10 Sandeep Singh, Krishnankit Banerjee, Varun Puri, Pavit Singh, Kanika Saxena ( Rs. 500 each)
