Metro train operations extended by an hour

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation on Monday announced that its train operations would now run from 6 a.m. to midnight when the last train service reaches Kashmere Gate from Rithala.

Beyond midnight

The Metro rail operations, which are being extended by about an hour on Line 1 and Line 3, will for the first time extend a Metro train service beyond midnight.

The last trains for passengers will be available from Shahdara to Rithala at 11 p.m. and from Rithala at 11-45 p.m. for Kashmere Gate.

Passengers can now take the Metro train from Indraprastha at 11-05 p.m. for travelling to Dwarka.

The last train at the Kashmere Gate inter-change station will be at 11-27 p.m. for going towards Shahdara, while the last train from the Rajiv Chowk inter-change station will be at 11-13 p.m. for going towards Dwarka.

Addition

The DMRC has announced that in addition, some trains, which were running from the terminal stations to maintenance depots unoccupied earlier, will now carry passengers as per the timetable.
