Heroin worth millions of dollars recovered in Dwarka, Delhi

Delhi Police have arrested an Afghan and a Nigerian national and recovered 1.970 kilograms of heroin from them.

Acting on a tip off, the two were arrested from Dwarka, and the police are investigating the involvement of a bigger international racket.

"We had information about this. On basis of that a police team arrested two foreign nationals, out of which, one is an Afghani and the other was a Nigerian national. They were arrested from Dwarka. We recovered 1.970 kgs of fine quality heroin," said Alok Kumar, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Central District.

The drug consignment was brought from Afghanistan by the Afghan and was handed over to the Nigerian.
